SAN DIEGO, CA, May 21, 2020: Sentek Global has announced three strategic promotions of key personnel into newly created positions that align with the company’s focus on providing excellent partner and customer service.
Stephen McKnight has been promoted to Account Manager, Mission Innovation & Technology Solutions (MITS); Laura Tailby has been promoted to Account Manager, Mission Communications & Integration Solutions, (MCIS); and Cheryl Davis has been promoted to Proposal Manager and will be working with all three of Sentek Global’s Business Units, which also includes Mission Assurance Advanced Solutions (MAAS).
Jesse Hamilton, Vice President of Customer Success, shared, “It’s truly a milestone in a corporation’s story to develop an internal standalone proposal department. We’re thrilled to have Cheryl Davis lead this department as Sentek Global’s Proposal Manager. Her experience and leadership will help us further serve our current and future clients, as well as our Business Units, with high quality deliverables. ”
Ms. Davis brings over a decade of extensive proposal management experience as well as a background directly supporting Sentek Global clients at NAVWAR, NIWC-PAC, and NIWC-LANT.
Justin Parker, Business Unit Director, MCIS, shared, “Since coming on board last year, Laura Tailby has excelled in her Program Management role, garnering multiple client and executive BZs for her work in enhancing the performance of the MCIS Business Unit and Sentek Global as a whole. She embodies our ethos of being a tireless innovator, continuously driving us to be better than we were the day before.”
Ms. Tailby’s new role as Account Manager for the MCIS Business Unit will unify and focus the operational and execution components within the Business Unit.

In his new role, Stephen will be managing multiple accounts in multiple areas which will enable us to use his extensive industry knowledge, experience, and connections to further serve our customers and partners while helping Sentek Global achieve its strategic goals.”
Mr. McKnight led the capture and proposal efforts for Sentek Global’s NSWC Philadelphia Contract and has been involved in over 15 proposals during his tenure at Sentek Global. Additionally, he has served several roles within the AFCEA Lowcountry Chapter, including his most recent appointment as Secretary.
