Eric Basu, President & CEO
Eric is the founder and CEO for Sentek. He’s a former U.S. Navy SEAL Commander who graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and holds an MBA from Anderson Graduate School of Management (UCLA).
Eric holds over 20 years of deep domain experience in project and program management, application development management, IT infrastructure assessments, IT Security audits, and strategic consulting. He has previously served in the roles of Managing Director, Chief Architect, Chief Technology Officer, IT Director, Director Product Management, Project Manager, and Division Leader in various companies and government agencies. Most notable was Eric’s role as Chief Architect of knowledge management portal for Alitum, a consultant for multiple enterprise IT system implementations for Price Waterhouse Coopers, and a project manager/IT consultant for KPMG.
Eric launched Sentek Global out of his home in 2001 with the goal of founding a firm committed to making a significant and long-standing positive difference for our clients. His leadership is a key reason for the company’s perennial listing in the annual Inc. 5,000 list. He was a finalist for Entrepreneur Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 and 2014, and San Diego Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO in 2015.

Jason Galetti is the Chief Operating Officer for Sentek Global.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Galetti has 14 years of military, government, and commercial expertise, in the areas of operations, C2 systems, and tactical radios.
As COO, Mr. Galetti reports to the CEO and provides overall direction and guidance to operational activities with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability for the Cyber Security, Training, and DoD practices at the company. In addition, he provides day-to-day leadership and management in the areas of Budgeting, Contracts, Human Resources, and Security.
Mr. Galetti has been with Sentek Global since 2004, starting as employee #6. During his employment, Mr. Galetti has worked on various client projects and led several business initiatives for Sentek Global including the company’s first SBIR contract award, the development of a college recruiting program, and leading the firm’s tactical radio business which culminated in the award of a 5 year, $32M contract with the MIDS program office in San Diego, CA.
Prior to his success as a defense contractor in San Diego, Mr. Galetti was a manager in the Store Leadership Corporate program at Home Depot where he worked in vendor negotiations and was also a regional project manager for a $400 million capital investment initiative designed to improve store layout and design to enhance market share.
Mr. Galetti is a USMC veteran, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the MCRD Museum Foundation.
Mr. Matthews has almost 30 years of experience in security engineering, system architectures, software engineering, and program management. Cameron Matthews, Chief Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer
Cameron is one of the most dynamic, multi-faceted and multi-talented CSOs in the business He puts almost 30 years of experience in security engineering, system architectures, software engineering, and program management to use for both government and commercial clients. He’s one of the few executives in the industry with deep domain expertise in a wide array of markets including the defense industry, healthcare, e-commerce, transportation, telecommunications, and education.
Most recently, Cameron created Sentek Global’s commercial security practice and currently leads all five of the company’s penetration testing teams. He has trained commercial development teams on secure architectures and Secure Software Development Lifecycles and has lead Sentek Global’s DIACAP information assurance teams that have performed risk assessments and security posture reviews of many thousands of U.S. military information systems. Cameron has also been on the inside of the security architectures and systems of some of the world’s largest banks and trading floors and was a key engineer for some of the most advanced cryptographically-secure e-commerce protocols.
Prior to joining Sentek Global, Mr. Matthews held CTO and VP of Software Engineering positions at a number of San Francisco- and San Diego-based commercial companies.
He has also played key technical and program management roles in large, multi-million and multi-billion dollar Department of Defense projects during his 12-year tenure with Science Applications International Corporation. Cameron studied computer science and mathematics at San Diego State University and Loma Linda University.
